Traffic officers from the Capital Governorate on Tuesday continued a campaign against motorists who violate traffic regulations under the supervision of Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs Major General Abdul Fattah Al-Ali.
The campaign resulted in the issuance of 100 traffic citations for various violations and the officers also put wheel locks on 10 cars.
In a related development, another team of officers carried out a similar campaign in Qurain. They conducted security checks at the entry and exit points of Qurain Market, leading to the issuance of several citations and impounding of an undisclosed number of vehicles due to different violations.
Some expatriates with no identification papers were also arrested
